Description
This is the very definition of old-school for this area. When the road opened in 1940, this was here, it's still here, and it's still churning out good food. It blew up some months ago, but they rebuilt it and it's back.
This is not Jimmy John's the deli-sandwich chain; this is a burger-and-hot-dog joint opened by a man named Jimmy John way back when. It's a grease pit in a good way; double cheeseburgers, hot dogs (get 'em split-and-grilled), tubs of free sauerkraut and fried onions by the door, model trains everywhere. The fries are adequate.
