This nice US style retro Diner has a wonderful selection.
Nice range of starters, the Nacho salad is fantastic, as are the fish sticks and sweet potato wedges.
A large portion of the menu is reliably sourced Angus beef (if you want you can trace its family tree, though that claim always seems a little creepy) There's a huge variety to choose from, ranging from a plain cheese burger, via carb free meat feasts to a burger with a bowl shaped taco full of chili inside the bun! For an extra ﾣ10 you can even Kobe things up a little.
There's also a smaller selection of Chicken and vegetarian burgers, some salads (with and without meat on top) and basic alternatives (fish and chips, chili, that sort of thing). The coup de grace however is the luxury burger section, including things that could excite all but the most experienced carnivore. Lamb, Wild Boar, Shark, Ostrich, and Kangaroo have all featured in the past.
Each burger comes with a side of coleslaw, but the normal sides of onion rings and chips are present and delicious as well.

Atmosphere is good, music is generally on the tamer side of the UK indie spectrum, though the restaurant is just next to the University, so be prepared for there to be lots of students. Service is mostly fast and friendly; the milkshakes and smoothies come in classic style milk bottles if you're there on a good night.

Prices are maybe slightly above average, but the food is filling, and students get 2 for 1 Sunday to Thursday (and during the day Fri and Sat), and there are several other branches in Glasgow and one out in Perth, plus more to come if the menu is to be beliveed
Open from lunch til late (about 2am at the last check), and takeway available.
