Located on the edge of beautiful downtown Plano on 15th street, the "Butcher Shop" is a Plano institution. It really is a butcher shop where you can buy fresh cut meats from the counter, but it's also a great burger joint. The meat is super fresh and hand formed, they're also very large. Not only can you get a burger, but they serve Buffalo burgers and on Wednesday you can get an Elk burger.

Nothing fancy here; tables, chairs, and wall decorations of livestock posters. Daily specials are a great deal. The fries are very good with genorous servings, but I prefer the tater tots. The home made fried pies are outstanding.

The owner, Jeff is there everyday and is the most likeable guy you'll ever meet. Simply a great burger at a very reasonable price.
