Description
The burgers here are cheap and greasy, with lots of cheese, ketchup, mustard, and pickles. They always pair well with their equally-greasy fries and a frozen coke. They also serve beer under the new owners.
Originally called Scotty's drive-in when it opened in 1962, new ownership has since changed the name and sign of the Aberdeen staple. The Scotty's name was once a chain back then, and despite only having places in the northern plains area, it rivaled McDonald's for years before they got big and the Scotty's franchise went out of business. Today, all remaining Scotty's are either independently owned and operated, or more likely shut down. As far as I know, the Aberdeen restaurant was the last one to be open with the name.
